On May 19th, we spoke to Dr. Medhat Abbas of the Gaza Ministry of Health about what it’s like living through the ongoing Israeli air, land and sea assault on Gaza, as colleagues, family, and friends are dying all around him. “You don’t know at what time you may die. Your children are scared. You can’t sleep at night, imagine you wake up to an explosion and you wake up and your children are screaming.”
