Bullets and Beatings Can’t Crush Sudan’s Struggle

Despite over 100 peaceful protestors having been killed, and countless numbers beaten, tear gassed, arrested and jailed, the anti-coup movement in Sudan continues. Large numbers continue to take to the streets all over the African nation demanding political democracy as well as social and economic change.

BT News spoke with Sajida El Mubarak, Karari Resistance Committees Coordination spokesperson to explain the context of the coup, the goals of the movement in the streets and what the future holds for Sudan.
